ASHIATSU BAREFOOT MASSAGE (DEEP TISSUE)

Ashiatsu is a deep compression barefoot massage where the therapist utilizes parallel bars on the ceiling for support and balance. Using gravity and body weight, the therapist can deliver a consistent deep tissue massage with the feet. The broader surface of the foot makes the compression smooth and not boney or pokey like using an elbow, thumb or knuckles. If you love deep work but have trouble finding a therapist to deliver, then Ashiatsu may be perfect for you!

Pregnancy/prenatal massage

PREGNANCY (PRENATAL) MASSAGE

Pregnancy massage is specifically tailored for the expectant mother's needs. It utilizes a comfortable, secure sidelying position to avoid undue pressure  on a growing abdomen and the lower back.  The mother's body is supported by pillows and bolsters. In addition to pain relief and emotional support, it helps increase circulation and flow of nutrients to the placenta, aids postural alignment, provides relief to joints, helps relieve back pain and fatigue and reduces swelling/edema. Pregnancy massage is also beneficial to postpartum in that it aids in the process of the uterus returning to its normal size, releases shoulder, neck and arm tension from care and breastfeeding of an infant.
